The State Statistics Committee called the purpose of the trip of foreign citizens who arrived in Uzbekistan in 2021.
According to the Committee, foreign citizens who visited the country to study amounted to 6.4 thousand people (0.4% of the total number of those who entered), for the commercial purpose – 13.7 thousand people (0.7%), treatment – 32.4 thousand people (1.7%), service – 60.7 thousand people (3.2%), rest and leisure – 155.1 thousand people (8.3%).
The largest number of trips is for visiting relatives – 1,613.1 thousand people (85.7%).
