At least 1,700 children took part in Shoro Tay Kuluk Kids Run in Bishkek on May 21.
Age of participants was from two to sixteen years old. According to the organizers, such a number of people wishing to take part in the event was registered for the first time.
The race started on the Old Square, it was held on the occasion of the upcoming International Children’s Day.
The purpose of the event was to introduce children to sports, a healthy lifestyle, as well as to support inclusiveness and inclusion of children with disabilities in society. About 100 children with various types of disabilities took part in the race.
