At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week, 25 transactions were registered for 24 million 442 thousand US dollars.
During the auction, businessmen from the UK, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, and businessmen from the United Arab Emirates purchased table salt (SC "Turkmenhimiya"). Also, cotton yarn was sold to entrepreneurs from the UAE, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.
Merchants from the United Arab Emirates, India, Pakistan and Kazakhstan purchased medical supplies and cotton yarn for manats. The total amount of transactions amounted to 40 million 522 thousand manats. Turkmen businessmen purchased construction materials worth 8,587,000 manats for the domestic market.
