At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week, 28 transactions were registered for 14 million 754 thousand US dollars.
During the auction, businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased low-sulphur fuel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, as well as polypropylene (SC "Turkmenneft"). In addition, cotton yarn was sold to merchants from Turkey.
Turkish entrepreneurs also purchased cotton yarn for manats. The deal amounted to 17 million 508 thousand manats. Turkmen businessmen purchased total petroleum coke (GK Turkmenneft) for 22,400,000 manats for the domestic market.
