There is a possibility of setting a record for the maximum temperature of the day in the capital, which currently stands at 33.6 degrees, the newspaper writes. However, in the next two days, a sharp drop in temperature to 20 degrees is expected. Rains are possible.

October of this year is likely to be the hottest for Ashgabat in the last 130 years.

Earlier it was reported that this year in Ashgabat, September broke the record for the average temperature of this month in the entire history of meteorological observations. The set temperature maximum was 26.9 degrees. The previous record high of 26.7 degrees was recorded in 2013.
