Kangarli: On May 20, the resettlement convoy arrived at the village of Kangarli in the Aghdam district. As part of this stage, keys to newly built individual houses were handed over to 50 families comprising 207 people.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony was attended by representatives of the Special Representative of the President in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, as well as representatives of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons. This initiative marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to resettle families in the region.
Currently, nearly 40,000 people reside in Karabakh and East Zangazur. This population includes resettled former internally displaced persons, individuals involved in the implementation of projects in the region, and employees of local branches of various state institutions. Additionally, workers in reestablished healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy entities contribute to the growing community.
