At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week, 52 transactions were registered for 30 million 782 thousand US dollars.
During the auction, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel of the EKO-5 brand and liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR). Merchants from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Poland and Afghanistan purchased polyethylene (Turkmenhimiya State Concern). In addition, cotton yarn was sold to businessmen from the UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
Entrepreneurs from Great Britain, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey purchased iodine solution and cotton yarn for 30,215,000 manats for manats. For the domestic market, Turkmen merchants purchased base oil produced by the Turkmen Oil Refinery, high-density polyethylene (SC “Turkmenhimiya”), industrial sulfur (SC “Turkmengaz”) and handmade carpets totaling more than 75 million manats.
