At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week, 54 transactions were registered for 13 million 576 thousand US dollars.
During the auction, businessmen from the UK purchased aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Liquefied gas (SC "Turkmengaz") became the subject of transactions of entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, and merchants from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased the processed diesel fraction (SC "Turkmenhimiya"). In addition, businessmen from Russia and the UAE were sold an assortment of terry products and cotton yarn.
Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased cotton yarn and handmade carpets for manats. The total amount of transactions amounted to about 800,000 manats.
For the domestic market, Turkmen merchants purchased technical sulfur (SC "Turkmengaz"), high-density polyethylene (SC "Turkmenhimiya") and handmade carpets for 654 million 499 thousand manats.
