At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week, 63 transactions were registered for 24 million 304 thousand US dollars.
During the auction, businessmen from the United Arab Emirates and Turkey purchased gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Liquefied gas produced by the Seydi oil refinery, as well as the state concerns "Turkmengas" and "Turkmenhimiya" was purchased by entrepreneurs from Turkey, Bulgaria, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. Also, cotton yarn, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products were sold to merchants from Russia.
For the domestic market, Turkmen businessmen purchased polypropylene, granulate and agglomerate of polypropylene film, as well as calcined petroleum coke and substandard polypropylene produced by the Turkmen Oil Refinery. In addition, high-density polyethylene (SC "Turkmenhimiya") and handmade carpets were purchased. The total amount of transactions amounted to 45 million 547 thousand manats.
