On November 16, Deputy Prime Minister for Science and Education, Healthcare and Sports Sapardurdy Toylyev reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the work on improving the qualifications of medical workers, the state information agency TDH reports .

The Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the successful cooperation in the field of healthcare with German medical centers and specialists who regularly visit Turkmenistan.

According to Toylyev, a group of Turkmen specialists will be sent to the Grosshadern clinic of the Maximilian-Ludwig University of Munich from November 21 to 24.

Note that Klaus Parhofer , a professor at the Grosshadern University Hospital in Munich , who specializes in endocrinology and diabetology, regularly visits Turkmenistan. According to the TDH, he has been cooperating with Turkmen doctors since 2008.

In November 2020, several doctors at the Grosshadern clinic received the title of Honorary Professor of the Turkmen State Medical University named after Myrat Garryev (TSMU).
