A meeting of the Turkmen-Armenian intergovernmental commission was held in Ashgabat

Ashgabat hosted the ninth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Armenian Commission for Economic Cooperation. The talks were led by the co-chairs of the commission: from the Turkmen side, Deputy Prime Minister for the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Fuel and Energy Complex, Shahym Abrakhmanov, and from the Armenian side, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Gnel Sanosyan.

The parties discussed issues of increasing the volume of trade between the two countries and expanding the range of exported goods by establishing contacts between the business circles of the two countries. During the talks, it was noted that the export of products from the oil and gas, agricultural, food and textile industries of Turkmenistan to Armenia will contribute to the development of trade relations between the two countries.

The parties also expressed interest in strengthening contacts in the field of industry, energy, transport, construction, architecture and agriculture. As a result of the work of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Armenian Commission for Economic Cooperation, a corresponding protocol was signed.
