On 9 August 2018 Sabir Rizayev, a musician, clarinet and saxophone player, arranger, honoured artist of Turkmenistan died in Ashgabat aged 59, the news outlet Gundogar reported.
Throughout his career Sabir Rizayev performed as part of the musical bands Firyuza, Gunesh and Ashgabat and taught at the Turkmen National Academy of Music.
