A web portal of public services presented in Turkmenistan

The presentation of the unified portal of public services was held at the exhibition Turkmentel-2019, which is currently being held in Ashgabat.

The state information agency TDH reported on 27 November that the Internet-based resource (e.gov.tm) is an automated one-stop-shop information system to render public services in an electronic format for residents and businesses.

According to the media outlet, with the help of a bank card a user can pay the Internet bills, landline and mobile telephone bills, purchase railroad and airplane tickets and have access to other services using the bank details of a bank card. The list of services rendered includes information, communications and advertising, education, culture and Health section.

TDH highlights that online applications can be submitted to obtain passports, residence registration, driving licenses, retirement benefits and other allowances, taxes and employment. The website is available in Turkmen and Russian languages.
