Working visit of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov to Sochi has ended. Press service of the Cabinet reported.

Akylbek Japarov took part in the regular meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in narrow and expanded formats. He made a speech at the plenary session of the III Eurasian Congress.

«Breakthrough projects are needed that will become a shining example of our cooperation and achievement of technological independence,» he said during his speech.

In addition, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers had a number of bilateral meetings with the Heads of Government of Russia, Cuba and the management of Rosatom.

«The parties coordinated their stances on the implementation of the agreements reached during the talks between the heads of the two states. Akylbek Japarov also met with the Prime Minister of Cuba Manuel Marrero Cruz and held talks with Alexey Likhachev, Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation,» the statement says.

At the end of the working visit, the representative of Kyrgyzstan, together with the heads of delegations of the countries — members of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the CIS, met with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
