Allianz Trade: Allianz Trade has raised Azerbaijan's country risk rating, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the international insurance and economic analysis company has upgraded Azerbaijan's risk classification from C2 (medium risk) to C1 (low risk). This change reflects a decrease in the country's risk level and signals a more stable economic and political environment. It is also seen as an important indicator of growing international business and investment confidence in Azerbaijan.

Allianz Trade's country risk rating directly influences decisions in areas such as export credits, foreign investments, bank guarantees, and commercial insurance. The improved rating is expected to boost capital inflows, facilitate access to favorable credit, and stimulate foreign investment.

Previously known as Euler Hermes, Allianz Trade rebranded in 2022 and operates as the trade credit insurance and risk assessment arm of Allianz Group. One of its core activities is providing ratings and economic analysis for country and sector risks.
