Ambassador Reveals Key Issues for Georgian Foreign Minister’s Visit to Baku

Baku: Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili's first official visit to Baku marks an important step in the bilateral relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan, as announced by Georgian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataradze, according to APA's Tbilisi correspondent.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ambassador Pataradze emphasized the dynamic development of relations between the two countries, stating that Azerbaijan is a strategic partner and friendly nation for Georgia. He highlighted that the visit involves a series of planned meetings where the entire spectrum of bilateral relations will be discussed, including political, trade-economic, cultural, and humanitarian issues.

The ambassador expressed confidence that these meetings would contribute to stimulating and strengthening relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan. He noted that the discussions are expected to elevate the bilateral ties to a new stage, underlining the significance of this diplomatic engagement at the beginning of the year.
