An extraordinary meeting of the upper chamber of the Turkmen parliament Halk Maslakhaty (People's Council) will be held on February 11 this year. The corresponding resolution was signed by the President of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the People's Council Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The document prescribes to hold an extraordinary meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh (National Council) of Turkmenistan on February 11, 2022 via digital video link. In Ashgabat, the meeting will be held in the Maslakhat (Conference) palace, in the Akhal velayat (region) - in the White Yurt of Turkmens building, in the Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats - in the Rukhyet (Spirituality) palaces .

At an extraordinary meeting of the upper house of parliament, it is planned to discuss the main directions of the socio-economic and cultural development of the country for the next 30 years.
