An international exhibition dedicated to Ashgabat has opened in the capital of Turkmenistan

The XXI international universal exhibition "White City of Ashgabat", timed to coincide with the City Day, began its work in the Turkmen capital.

The annual review, held by the capital's mayor's office and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, is designed to demonstrate the achievements and prospects for the development of the country's main city in the field of urban planning, industry, social, scientific and cultural spheres.

The exhibition is attended by Turkmen and foreign companies, as well as enterprises of ministries and departments of the country. They show visitors the widest range of possibilities, from construction and architecture to electricity, processing, industry, design and modernization of urban infrastructure.

A separate section is devoted to high technologies as an integral part of the development of a modern city. Today, innovations are actively used in all areas of Ashgabat's life - from engineering, technical and economic facilities to the socio-economic, educational and cultural spheres.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of the XXI international universal exhibition "White City of Ashgabat" with the start of work.

According to him, a lot of work is underway to modernize Ashgabat and turn it into a flourishing oasis, build new residential complexes, upgrade existing engineering and technical systems, and develop road and transport infrastructure.

“With the construction of new buildings, distinguished by original architecture, luxurious hotels, our wonderful capital is becoming more beautiful day by day. We will always attach great importance to the implementation of original solutions, the introduction of innovative, including digital technologies, engineering and technical developments,” the head of state emphasizes in his congratulatory address.
