The official reported on the implementation of the Agreement between Vnesheconombank and the Abu Dhabi Development Fund on the establishment of a closed joint stock company Türkmen maýa goýum kompaniýasy (Turkmen Investment Company), signed during the visit of the Turkmen delegation to the UAE on October 9.

According to the document , Vnesheconombank will become the founder of AOZ with a 50% stake, and the Central Bank will issue a license for this.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the top priority of the investment company will be to attract finance for the implementation of new projects of national and regional significance.

On October 9, within the framework of the EXPO-2020 world exhibition, the National Day of Turkmenistan was held in Dubai.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the exhibition and held talks with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Presidential Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan . The parties signed a number of documents, including an Agreement on the Creation of an Investment Company and a Credit Agreement on Financing the Construction of a Chemical Plant for the Production of Mixed Mineral Fertilizers in Turkmenabat.
