Konya: The "Anatolian Phoenix - 2025" International Search and Rescue Exercise has officially commenced at the airbase in Konya, Trkiye, with participation from military personnel representing several countries, as announced by the Ministry of Defense to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the exercise began with participants observing demonstration flights executed by the "Turkish Stars" aviation groups of the Turkish Air Force. This was followed by a comprehensive briefing that covered the exercise's objectives, scenarios, venue details, preparation processes, safety protocols, and the various tasks to be carried out during different stages of the exercise.

Notably, the Azerbaijan Air Force is actively participating in this international exercise. Azerbaijani pilots, alongside representatives from the paratrooper and search-and-rescue services, as well as technical staff and aircraft, are representing their country. The exercise is scheduled to continue until May 23.
