APA Journalism School Begins Operations Under APA Media Group.

Baku: Today, APA Journalism School, a pioneering initiative by APA Media Group, has officially commenced its activities. The launch of the school marks a significant step in fostering new talent within the Azerbaijani media landscape. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the head of APA Media Group, Vusala Mahirgizi, revealed that the school received 230 applications for its training program. Out of these, 26 promising individuals were selected to participate. Mahirgizi expressed confidence that the initial cohort would emerge as prominent figures in Azerbaijani journalism. She further highlighted that APA Group plans to leverage the training program to strengthen its personnel resources. The three-month training will provide participants with numerous opportunities within the company. In addition to receiving instruction from qualified trainers, participants will have the chance to learn from established journalists, bloggers, and new media experts who will visit weekly to share their insights and experie nces. The inaugural instructors at APA Journalism School include esteemed journalist Gabil Abbasoglu, renowned TV journalist Ilgar Alfi, and APA TV director Orkhan Mammadli, all of whom bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the program.
