Aramco CEO, OPEC chief see higher oil demand

Saudi Arabian Oil Group (Saudi Aramco) CEO Amin Nasser said on Monday that China and India are leading the developing economies in pushing global oil demand higher, APA reports citing Teletrader.

Demand growth is expected to surpass two million barrels per day (bpd) in 2023, Nasser specified at an energy conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais confirmed that OPEC still projects global oil demand at 110 million bpd by 2045.
