Baku: Armenia's participation in the 3rd Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Games, set to be hosted in Azerbaijan, is currently uncertain. Aygul Aghayeva, Head of Security and Operations at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix (Baku City Circuit Operations Company), addressed the situation in a recent press conference.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Aghayeva responded to journalists' inquiries during the event by stating, "We send invitations to the countries. However, Armenia's participation has not yet been confirmed. If there are any updates in the next stages, information will be provided."

The Games' opening and closing ceremonies are scheduled to take place at the Ganja city stadium, emphasizing the significance of the event within the region. The uncertainty surrounding Armenia's participation adds an element of anticipation to the proceedings, as organizers continue to prepare for the multinational sporting event.
