An athlete from Kyrgyzstan Aiperi Medet kyzy won a silver medal at the Asian Wrestling Championship in Astana. United World Wrestling reported.

In the final, the Kyrgyzstani lost to Elmira Syzdykova from Kazakhstan.

Another Kyrgyzstani Kalmira Bilimbekova won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 59 kilograms.

Meerim Zhumanazarova lost the fight for the third place to an athlete from Kazakhstan.
