As of the end of July 2023, Azerbaijani banks had assets worth 44,880.3 million manats or 26,400.2 million US dollars. This is stated in the banking review published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the document, this is down by 0.75% from the end of June. The assets of banks dropped by 4.6% as compared to the end of the last year, and over the past year it rose by 8%.
