During Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Vladimir Putin's meeting which took place on November 1 in the residence of the President of the Russian Federation "Bocharov Ruchei" in the city of Sochi the key directions of the Turkmen-Russian cooperation were discussed. Among the priority directions of partnership fuel and energy complex which was strategic for world energetic powers Russia and Turkmenistan having huge stocks of hydrocarbon resources was called.
It is known that among priorities of development of domestic energy industry are radical modernization and accumulation of the extracting and refinery capacities, diversification of routes of deliveries of energy carriers to the world markets, creation of hi-tech oil and gas-chemical productions on release of the ready competitive and demanded in the world markets production.
In the solution of these tasks Turkmenistan is guided by introduction of innovative developments and the advanced achievements, paying special attention to training of highly qualified specialists. Turkmenistan also pays special attention at realization of power policy to ecological aspects and rational use of natural wealth.
All this causes broad prospects for development of mutually beneficial cooperation. It is known that Russia one of the first has supported the initiative announced by the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the field of formation of modern architecture of global energy security, ensuring reliable and stable transit of energy carriers which has found the embodiment in the relevant Resolutions adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2008 and 2013.
Taking concrete, consecutive steps on this direction, our country seeks to develop equal effective interaction with all interested parties.
