Currently, preparations are underway to open a plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas, built in Akhal region, on June 28. Equipped with modern equipment and advanced technologies from well-known manufacturers, the company is unique in many ways. Here, for the first time in the world practice, the production of synthetic automobile fuel from natural gas will be carried out on an industrial scale.
The design capacity of the plant is 600 thousand tons of gasoline that meets the environmental requirements of the Euro-5 standard, as well as 12 thousand tons of refined diesel fuel and 115 thousand tons of liquefied gas per year.
As the President stressed, the implementation of this large-scale investment project is of great importance for the diversification and strengthening of the export potential of the country's oil and gas complex.
The head of state instructed the Vise Prime Minister to prepare new projects in the gas industry to create innovative industries specializing in deep processing of raw materials and the production of a wide range of gas chemical products in demand on the world markets.
At the same time, it was stressed that the widespread introduction of advanced technologies, modern scientific and technical developments in the FEC is also important in the context of solving environmental problems.
