At the high-level Turkmen-Russian talks, special attention is paid to partnership in trade, energy and transport

Today, on the second day of his official visit to Turkmenistan, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin held talks with Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.

In the morning, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation laid flowers at the “Baky shohrat” monument of the “Halk hakydasy” Memorial Complex.

After that, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin met with Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. During the talks, the parties discussed the development of the Turkmen-Russian partnership in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Then, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin held talks with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The parties held talks in a one-on-one format, as well as in an expanded composition of delegations.

The Head of the Government of the Russian Federation and the President of Turkmenistan exchanged views on the expansion of Turkmen-Russian cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Particular attention at the talks was paid to the development of bilateral partnerships in trade, energy and transport.
