Chengdu: Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China Yin Hejun within the framework of the Second Belt and Road Conference on Science and Technology Exchange in Chengdu, China, APA reports citing the Ministry of Science and Education. During the meeting, the current state and future development prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of science between the two countries were discussed.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, as part of the meeting, in order to promote mutual cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and artificial intelligence, a 'Letter of Intent on the Joint Implementation of the Cooperation Program in the Field of Artificial Intelligence Science between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China' and a 'Letter of Intent on the Joint Implementation of the Special Program for Cooperation in the Fields of Science, Technology, and Innovation between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China' were signed.
