Baku: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concerning the exchange of information and assistance in tax requirements between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Revenue Service of the Republic of Latvia has received approval. This MoU, initially signed in Baku on January 16, 2025, has been sanctioned through a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree outlines that upon the MoU's activation, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan is tasked with ensuring the implementation of its provisions. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan is mandated to send a notification to the Latvian government, confirming the completion of the necessary domestic procedures for the enforcement of the MoU.
