Baku: Azerbaijan and Somalia have reached an agreement to collaborate in the defense sector, as confirmed by APA reports. This collaboration will encompass both defense and the defense industry sectors.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the draft law titled "On the approval of the Agreement on cooperation in the fields of defense and the defense industry between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia" was a focal point during the session of the Milli Majlis, the Azerbaijani Parliament.

The session concluded with the draft law being put to a vote, where it was successfully adopted in the first reading. This marks a significant step towards strengthening the defense ties between the two nations.
