Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving an agreement on trade and economic cooperation with Turkmenistan and Turkey, Trend reports.
According to the decree, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance was instructed to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the agreement approved by the heads of the three countries at the Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Turkey summit, which was held in December 2022 in Turkmenbashi.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry must notify Ashgabat and Ankara of the completion of the necessary domestic procedures necessary for the agreement to enter into force.
At the trilateral summit, agreements were reached in the field of trade, transport, humanitarian cooperation and a common commitment to increase mutual trade was confirmed.
