Baku: A group of employees from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan has been awarded by the Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov. The awards were given in recognition of their participation in a rescue operation following the crash of an Azerbaijan Airways aircraft near Aktau International Airport in Kazakhstan on December 25, 2024.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Kazakh rescuers received the "For Cooperation" badge following a relevant order signed by Minister Heydarov. The individuals honored were Seytalin Azamat Serikovich, Timur Vladimirovich Aminov, Aydarov Kani Manapovich, Karayev Sayasat Musayevich, Majit Serikbayevich Kenjegaliyev, Azymbek Shindauletovich Kulkhanov, Kuzmabayev Erbol Akhmetovich, Mendibayev Naurizbek Erlanuli, Nugumanov Ardak Koishibekovich, and Tleubergenova Ayman Minbayevna.
The awards highlight the cooperative efforts between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in addressing emergency situations and underscore the commitment of both nations to ensure safety and effective response during crises.
