BAKU: The number of vehicles imported by Azerbaijan in the first eight months of this year has been revealed. Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan shows that in the reporting period the country imported 53,600 cars, 5,465 trucks and 165 buses. Meanwhile, 54.7 percent of the imported goods made up value of products delivered by road, 21.1 percent by air, 12 percent by sea, 11.6 percent by rail, and 0.6 percent through pipelines and power lines. Additionally, 36.3 percent of the value of exported products came from Italy, 14.6 percent - Trkiye, 7.6 percent - Israel, 4.2 percent - Russia, 4.1 percent - the Czech Republic, 3.6 percent - India, 3.4 percent - Croatia, 2.4 percent each - Germany and Portugal, 2.2 percent each - Greece and the UK, 2.1 percent - Bulgaria, 1.9 percent - Georgia, 1.6 percent - Romania, 1.3 percent - Thailand, 0.9 percent - Tunisia, 0.8 percent - Indonesia, 0.7 percent each - the Netherlands and Ukraine, and 0.6 percent each - Spain, the US, Serbia, an d Switzerland, hile 4.6 percent of the value of products was sent to other countries.
