Baku: Azerbaijan has introduced 56 new cafe-restaurants to cater to over 6,000 participants attending COP29 at Baku Stadium. The initiative aims to provide efficient food services during the conference. According to Azeri-Press news agency, Anar Zeynalov, Head of the Catering, Cleaning, and Waste Disposal Division for COP29, informed journalists that after the venue was confirmed, three new kitchens were established at Baku Stadium. A total of four kitchens are currently operational, with three located in the blue zone and one large kitchen in the green zone. Zeynalov highlighted that out of the 56 new establishments, more than 30 are dedicated food outlets. In addition, over 1,200 staff members have been employed to manage the food services, and all employees have successfully completed medical examinations to ensure safety and hygiene standards.
