Baku: Azerbaijan has exported a total of 6 billion cubic meters of gas this year, demonstrating its significant role in the regional energy market. The Energy Minister, Parviz Shahbazov, shared this information on his X social network account, noting that oil-condensate production in the first quarter of this year reached 6.9 million tons, while export volumes totaled 5.7 million tons. Additionally, 12.6 billion cubic meters of gas were produced last month, with half of that volume being exported.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the distribution of Azerbaijan's gas exports during the first quarter included approximately 3 billion cubic meters sent to Europe, 2.3 billion cubic meters to Turkey, and 0.7 billion cubic meters to Georgia. The report further detailed that 1.4 billion cubic meters of gas were transported to Turkey via the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) in the same period.
