Baku: The Azerbaijani government has announced an extension to the period during which health workers, who provide ambulatory polyclinic care to COVID-19 patients, will receive salary supplements. This decision affects medical professionals operating in special outpatient medical centers under the Baku Chief Health Department.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decision to extend the duration of the salary supplements. Initially, these supplements were scheduled to conclude by April 1, 2025. However, the new decision extends this period until July 1, 2025, providing additional financial support to frontline medical workers during the ongoing pandemic.
