Azerbaijan eyes to launch construction projects in several settlements of its Lachin district

BAKU: Construction work is planned to be launched in Gorchu settlement, Pirjahan, and Shalva villages of Azerbaijan's Lachin district, acting executive director of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in the Lachin district Tofig Islamov said during a panel discussion at the Caspian Construction Week in Baku today, Trend reports. He pointed out that work to restore the infrastructure of the Lachin district continues. 'Three contracts for design work within the framework of restoration, construction, and management have been signed, and work on another seven contracts is ongoing,' Islamov said. To note, as of now, 226 dwellings have been rehabilitated in the Lachin district at the preliminary phase of the rehabilitation. Design work is underway for the second phase, intended to be finalized by the start of next year. This second phase is planned to commence in early spring of 2025, concentrating on the restoration of residences, roadways, tourist attractions, hotels, and apartment complexes .
