Baku: The amount of the monthly scholarship for honorary titles has been increased. This change is reflected in the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, which focuses on increasing social allowances, presidential scholarships, and pensions for honorary titles in the Republic of Azerbaijan, along with amendments to certain presidential decrees and orders.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Decree stipulates that starting from July 1, 2025, the pension amount will be set at 300 manat for individuals holding titles such as people's writer, people's poet, people's artist, and people's painter. Meanwhile, a monthly pension of 200 manat will be allocated to those with honorary titles including honored scientist, honored art worker, and various other honored professions such as artist, painter, cultural worker, teacher, doctor, architect, physical education and sports worker, public servant, journalist, engineer, lawyer, agricultural worker, pilot, and medical worker.
