Baku: Heroes of the Patriotic War in Azerbaijan are set to receive a significant pension increase, as announced in a decree by President Ilham Aliyev. This development reflects the President's commitment to enhancing social benefits, including pensions for honorary titles and other related decrees.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, individuals honored with the title of Hero of the Patriotic War will now receive a monthly pension of 2,200 Azerbaijani manats. Additionally, those awarded the title of National Hero of Azerbaijan will be granted a pension of 2,000 manats. This increase is part of a broader initiative to acknowledge and support the contributions of these distinguished individuals.
