Azerbaijan Increases Social Allowances for Women with More Than Five Children

Baku: The amount of social benefit provided to women with more than five children in Azerbaijan has been increased. This adjustment is part of a broader initiative reflected in the Decree issued by President Ilham Aliyev, which also involves increases in the amounts of social benefits, presidential pensions, and pensions for honorary titles. Amendments have been made to several decrees and orders from the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to implement these changes.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree specifies that the allowance has been raised from AZN 105 (one hundred and five) to AZN 140 (one hundred and forty). This increase is aimed at providing more substantial financial support to women who have large families, aligning with the government's efforts to enhance social welfare and support vulnerable groups in the society.
