Azerbaijan Introduces Licensing Requirement for Casino Games in Caspian Sea Areas

Baku: Azerbaijan is set to introduce a new licensing requirement for the organization of casino games in specific areas of the Caspian Sea, as part of a broader expansion of activities necessitating a license due to state security concerns. This initiative is part of a proposed amendment to the "Law on Licenses and Permits."

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the draft amendment specifies that the organization of casino games in artificial land areas within the Caspian Sea section belonging to Azerbaijan is now included in the activities that require a license. This move aims to address situations related to state security, expanding the list of activities under regulatory oversight.
