270 people were readmitted to Azerbaijan during the 8 months of the current year, the State Migration Service told as a response to APA's inquiry. It was stated that the term readmission means the transfer of persons found to have illegally entered, stayed, or resided in the territory of one of the contracting states under the agreement by that state and the acceptance of those persons by the country of origin. The information also stated that the number of decisions on the administrative expulsion of foreigners from the borders of Azerbaijan was 1,583. It was noted that 7,450 work permits for foreigners and stateless persons were issued during the 8 months of the current year. This includes extended work permits. Source: Azeri-Press news agency
