BAKU: Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Rovshan Rustamov met with Deputy Director General of Kyrgyz Railways National Company Dastan Usubakunov within the framework of the meeting of heads of railway administrations on the establishment of the International Association 'Eurasian Transport Route' held in Baku on September 19-20, Trend reports. According to the information, the parties deliberated over matters of mutual interest, potential avenues for future railroad cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, and the development of the Middle Corridor. Furthermore, the parties noted that there is a potential for the transportation of more cargo from China through Kyrgyzstan, and soon the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan-China railway line will expand the opportunities of the Eurasian transport route.
