Karamay: Azerbaijan was represented at the fourth meeting of the heads of ministries and agencies responsible for the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held in Karamay, China. The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport informed APA about the country's involvement in the summit.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Bakhtiyar Mammadov, addressed the event and shared detailed insights into Azerbaijan's new initiatives and projects in the ICT sector. He reiterated Azerbaijan's commitment to future cooperation with SCO member states and acknowledged the organization's contributions to regional development.
During the visit, Mammadov toured several of Huawei's state-of-the-art technological facilities, including the Intelligent Transport Systems Centre and the Green Cloud Data Centre. These visits provided insights into the innovative technologies employed in smart transport and sustainable digital infrastructure.
Bakhtiyar Mammadov also held discussions with Huawei Vice President Angela Lin and other senior executives. The talks focused on exploring opportunities for future collaboration in areas such as digital infrastructure, smart transport systems, and green technologies.
