Azerbaijan Provides Medical Services to 826 Participants During COP29.

BAKU: Azerbaijan delivered medical services to a total of 826 participants at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). The event was hosted in Baku, and the medical services were managed by the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), as reported by APA. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, among the 826 individuals who sought medical attention, 199 visited medical stations and 492 turned to emergency medical teams. Of these, 107 participants received outpatient treatment, while 28 required hospitalization. Additionally, a foreign participant underwent a successful surgery at Yeni Klinika, involving bridectomy, appendectomy, and abscess drainage, and was later discharged in stable condition to continue outpatient care.
