Baku: The average export price of one barrel of Azeri Light (CIF) crude oil on global markets for the period of January to May 2025 has been revealed. The average price of Azerbaijani oil during the first five months of this year amounted to 73.7 US dollars.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the first five months of 2025, the highest recorded price was 84.78 US dollars, while the lowest was 63.25 US dollars. This period's pricing aligns with Azerbaijan's state budget calculations, where the average annual export price of one barrel of oil has been set at 70 US dollars.
The 2025 state budget projects revenues of 38 billion 356 million manats, with 18 billion 773 million manats sourced from the oil and gas sector. Of this, 14 billion 481 million manats are expected from transfers from the State Oil Fund, 3 billion 830 million manats from tax revenues through tax authorities from the oil and gas sector, and 462 million manats from dividend payments by SOCAR.
