Azerbaijan sees record summer precipitation this year, highest in last 10 years

The increasing effect of climate changes is observed both in temperature indicators and precipitation regime, The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan told APA. Noted that in the summer months of the last 10 years, the most precipitation in the territory of the republic was recorded in 2024. Thus, 67 rainy days have passed in the summer of this year, and the precipitations were mostly short-term, showers, and were equal to several times the monthly norm.
