Baku: Law enforcement agencies in Azerbaijan uncovered a total of 2,992 drug-related crimes during the first four months of this year as a result of comprehensive operations against drug addiction and illegal drug trafficking, APA reports citing a report by the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, of the detected cases, 894 involved illegal drug sales, 2,074 were related to possession, 22 were linked to illegal cultivation, and 2 were classified under other drug-related crimes.
