The criminal trial of Astana Babak Suleyman, a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran, accused of espionage, has continued, APA reports.
A prosecutor spoke at the session chaired by judge Shalala Hasanova at the Baku Court on Grave Crimes.
She has proposed to the court that the accused be sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment.
Astana Babak Suleyman was sentenced to 12 years in prison by the court's verdict.
He was charged with Article 276 (espionage) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
